Background
Digital Lark is a digital marketing agency based in the heart of Bedfordshire in Leighton Buzzard. Passionate about helping local businesses, Digital Lark works with startups and small to medium sized companies to become the local authority in their industry.
The Challenge
The client was looking for a brand refresh that was striking and bold, yet friendly and uncomplicated. They wanted their logo mark to be of a Lark. In folklore, the Lark is often depicted as a herald of good news, singing a tune that inspires optimism. The creative direction I chose for the design came from the Lark's signature black, yellow and tan feather pattern, distilling the markings of the bird into a simple yet pleasing juxtaposition of bold shapes and a gentle gradient.
